SITE POLICY STATEMENT 2014
GENERAL
- The purpose of METHWOLD.net is to promote and provide information about and for Methwold Parish, Organisations within the parish and its residents. We also aim to provide a useful hub from which visitors can navigate to external sites covering services and authorities with a connection to Methwold Parish and the surrounding area.
- Whilst every attempt has been made to provide accurate and timely information on this Website, we make no guarantees toward the absolute accuracy of the information presented here.
- METHWOLD.net and it’s content is fully controlled by its Webmaster. No material will be placed on the web-
site other than by the Webmaster. The only exceptions will be the Methwold Times and the Minutes of Parish Council Meetings which will be placed on the web-site by the Editor of the Methwold Times.
- All groups, businesses and organisations within the parish will have a listing included in the web-
site. METHWOLD.net is also willing and able to offer a feature page or pages to any such group or business for a small annual charge to help meet the running costs of the web- site. (See Site Definitions)
- Whilst we shall endeavour to maintain current contact data it is the responsibility of the groups or businesses to advise any changes.
- We are also able through DTKM’s services to offer any parish based organization the chance to have a web presence at low cost. This facility is known as a sub domain. eg: www.joebloggs/methwold.net (See Site Definitions)
- The content of a feature page or sub-
domain is dealt with on an individual basis by arrangement between the Webmaster and the individual or organisation. Failure to pay the agreed annual fee for a feature page and where a sub- domain is created will result in removal of both from the on- line site. The sub domain name remains property of and under the control of METHWOLD.net at all times. (See Site Definitions)
PRIVACY POLICY
For our internal purposes we also gather information on date, time, browser type, navigation history and IP address of visitors to our site. This information does not contain anything that can identify users personally, we use this information for internal system administration only and will not distribute it to any third parties.

- The submission of Photographs and articles for posting on the site are encouraged but written permission will be sought before posting photographs of minors. No names will be included in the title where photographs of minors are posted on the site.
