METHWOLD WALKING GROUP
Under the umbrella of the Methwold Community Action Group, the Methwold Walking Group is being set up to bring those active ones amongst the village the opportunity to participate in a light to medium walking activity.
We propose regular (2 mile+) walks throughout the summer months in the vicinity of Methwold and the surrounding area. Initially we will start from the Post Office in the village once or twice a month.

Sunday 10th November saw over 30 people take part in the Green Man’s Charity Car Treasure Hunt. Great fun was had by all as they followed the clues and gathered answers and items.
Some were out for hours!! Lesley, Gary and Sarah & Will Patrick were delighted with the response and another healthy sum was raised for the pub’s pet charity of MacMillan Cancer Support

Carols around the Christmas Tree 2013
Our most grateful thanks go out to Lord & Lady Iveagh for the gift of an Elveden Christmas Tree for the second year running. Their generosity allows us to dedicate all of the funds raised to the Refuge charity which this event supports and is a wonderful example to the young children who bring gifts every year for Santa to take to the mothers and children who are sheltered by the refuge charity.
